OUR MISSION

is to provide a new destination for young children, rising above societal norms for education and creating a collaborative learning community where relationships can develop and thrive. Exploration is encouraged, and higher-order learning processes are developed and sustained. We believe that experiences early in a child's life have a substantial impact on their disposition towards learning. We believe that a respectful, holistic approach to childhood will provide children opportunities to learn much more than rote skills and procedural routines. We advocate for high-quality early learning experiences so that children can achieve their full, individual potential.

OUR MODEL

provides young children, ages 6 weeks to 6, in southwest Oklahoma a place of joy and discovery through a Reggio-inspired, nature-based early childhood program. Scissortail provides a safe environment for children to actively engage in creative, hands-on materials- a critical element of the exploitation and learning process. Our carefully-selected materials help further develop each child's full potential. We deliver that a high-quality early education focusing on development of initiative, self-confidence, self-esteem, problem solving, creativity, independence and responsibility will build a strong foundation that prepares children for life-long learning, success and happiness.

School Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Extended Care: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
